  • Xiaoming Wu ¨C Chair
  • Xiaoming Wu has been passionate about performing arts from her earliest years, learning Chinese martial arts and dance at a young age. Since 2004, she founded the Huaying Performing Arts Group, then subsequently leaded the group to perform in community charity events. She promoted the group to be the largest Chinese performing arts group serving King county. Ms. Wu is currently president for Huayin Performing Arts.



  • Vincent Tao - Vice-Chairman
  • VINCENT TAO is Vice Chairman of Huayin Performing Arts Group. Respected by his peers, Dr Tao is known internationally as seasoned entrepreneur and technology leader.

    Dr. Tao is currently Director with Microsoft MSN Local, Mobile and Virtual Earth business division, responsible for global product strategy and business development. He has made significant contributions to the establishment of Microsoft Virtual Earth mapping business and led a number of initiatives in Microsoft international expansion. Vincent joined Microsoft in 2005 through the acquisition of GeoTango International Corp. of which he was Founder and CEO. Vincent built GeoTango from a start-up to become one of the most recognizable companies in the industry.

    Prior to his business venture, Vincent was Canada Research Chair Professor in Geomatics and Computer Engineering. He is Canada appointed U.N. technology advisor and served as Chairman or Board Director of several professional organizations. Vincent received numerous international awards and honors for his achievements in innovations.

    Vincent lives in the Seattle area with his wife and two lovely daughters. At his spare time, Vincent enjoys reading, golfing, collecting fine arts, singing, painting and blogging.

  • Dai Dong - Board Director
  • DAI DONG stole millions and millions of people¡¯s hearts with her record-breaking 3 solo performances in the 1985 CCTV New Year¡¯s celebration, the most prestigious event of the year that was broadcasted worldwide. Dong became an icon. She was one of the first to promote and exchange the popular music culture with Hong Kong, with memorable stage performances alongside superstars Anita Mui and Jacky Cheung. Her remarkable achievements in popular music and education had earned her a full scholarship to study Jazz Music at the North Texas University. Dong later studied Psychology, and established her Cross Cultural Training Consulting office in Chicago to help bridge the cultural gap between China and the US. In 2004, Dong dedicated her love and support to build the foundation for our non-profit Huayin Performing Arts Group. As the founding Vice Chairman of Huayin, Dong is actively involved in charity work in Chinese communities across Western Washington, donating her musical knowledge and talents to enrich lives. Loved by many, Dong¡¯s reputation and presence has reached far beyond a Chinese pop star to an admirable ambassador for exchanging artistic cultures, solidifying Huayin¡¯s mission for many more years to come.
